Our Xmas Fayre Tombola raised £235. 70p. Woolmer Forest Lions thanks the public for supporting us so well, at this special event.

Nigel Drury from the Liss Foodbank spoke on behalf of Bordon, Headley Down, Liphook and Liss local foodbanks who each received £1,000 donated by Woolmer Forest Lions Club at the club's December meeting.
'The foodbanks so appreciate the support of the Woolmer Forest Lions Club. The efforts of the foodbanks have been growing to meet the increased demand and it is wonderful that the community support of this kind helps us to meet the needs of our communities.'

APPLE TASTING EVENT 2023
Please note that we will be there this Sunday marshalling the car parking arrangements.
It would be much appreciated if you could bring cash for any kind donations you wish to give to the Lions as a thank you for helping you park your vehicle Thank you very much in advance.
Woolmer Forest Lions are delighted to report that our bucket collection at this years Apple Tasting raised an amazing figure of £2,716.50. Thank you for your kind and generous donations.
The event was a huge success with an extremely large number of cars being parked, circa 4,000.
The WFL event organisers Nigel and Vic deserve a huge thank you for their tireless efforts and much appreciation for all the club members who attended. Also thank you for the members of the community that donated so much cash so that the WFL club can continue to support local worthy cases, throughout the year.

HOLME PRIMARY SCHOOL - THANK WOOLMER FOREST LIONS
Year 4 class at Holme Primary School would like to send a big thank you to the Woolmer Forest Lions Club for their generous donation to cover the cost of their coach for their trip to the Living Rainforest. With our small class number and the increasing travel costs, the trip was deemed too expensive. But thanks to Woolmer Forest Lions Club, the children did not miss out.
The children had a brilliant experience and especially enjoyed the Amazing Adaptations workshop

What a great quiz night we had at The Royal Exchange in Lindford's weekly
Quiz. We had 2 teams representing Woolmer Forest Lions and President John
said a few words of welcome and thanks for everyone's support. Woolmer
forest lions came away with £150 to add to their funds, this included a
donation of £60 from another team known as 'Bordon 4 minus a leg' , a
lovely gesture by a group of young people. They are pictured above with
President John and Lion Kelvin. The team said " Lions have helped us in the
past and we may need help from them in the future so we are donating money
now! "

Woolmer Forest Lions - Turkey and Syria Earthquake Appeal
11th February 2023
Woolmer Forest Lions raised £515's today for the people of Syria and Turkey following the dreadful series of earthquakes that wrought such devastation and human misery.
We would like to thank the local community for supporting this very noble cause in such a generous manner.
