WFL President John Lewis on the Charity Bike Ride for the Rosemary Foundation

The Lions have been supporting the Rosemary Foundation 24 hour charity bike ride . This was organised by Melody care and hosted by the Royal Exchange pub . Two members President John Lewis and Lion Brian Eldridge , two friends of Lions, Sue Lewis and Ron Ruttle, cycled four stages of 30 minutes during the 24 hour marathon challenge.

The Woolmer Forest Lions donated £250 to the Rosemary Foundation , which offer hospice at home care for individuals who wish to spend their final days at home serving areas including Bordon and Lindford. The final two hours was completed by local charity fundraiser ( a man who is always up for a challenge!!) Brian Woods

The foundation rely solely on donations and this was a true fundraising event showing huge resilience, passion and energy.
