Woolmer Forest Lions Club President John Lewis attended a thank you lunch, at the Kingsley Centre, in recognition of the financial donation of £500 that Woolmer Forest Lions had donated to the centre to help with the cost of essential drainage work, recently undertaken. John is fourth from the left in the photo. John Lewis said, 'To see the support given to disabled people and their families in the community, at the Kingsley Centre was really amazing.'

Today Sue Lewis and Louise Eldridge, wives of John Lewis and Brian Eldridge took it upon themselves to run a chocolate tombola on behalf of the Woolmer Forest Lions Club . It was great to see the WFL banner promoting the club within the local community. Well done Girls! The total amount raised for the club was £101, which was a great effort.
