January 2018

Happy New Year, how are the resolutions going? Or are you like me, make one resolution not to make resolutions!

With Christmas behind us, a very sincere thank you if you were someone who donated to either our street collections or our food parcel appeal. Thanks to your help we were able to donate food parcels to needy families in our area, and from street collections were able to relieve several families of the fuel poverty they were trapped in. Once again, thank you very much.

This month you will find us at Tesco's Bordon, on the 31st January 2018, collecting on behalf of the Marie Curie charity. So if you have ever wondered what a Lion wearing a very large daffodil hat looks like .... come along on the 31st.

Our fundraising group are beavering away, finalising our Easter Egg Appeal 2018, so please watch out for the details of where we shall be placing those large Easter Eggs, and the charity we shall be raising money for.

Last month I appealed for a garage home for our trailer... as we are still seeking a home to store this small trailer, if you can help, do please get in touch.

If you have a resolution wanting to help out in your local community, please spare a thought for us. We are a small group, who welcome help or people who think they might like to join us. If that is you, then please give us a call on the Freephone number, or send us an email to the website.
